Arnold Penrod
Arnold "Arnie" Penrod, 73, of Patterson, MO, passed away Saturday, June 25, 2016 at his residence. He was born February 15, 1943, to the late, Arnold Penrod and Hazel Garrison Penrod in Wayne County, MO. He attended and graduated high school at Patterson.
On August 30, 1985, Arnold was united in Marriage to Donna Maxine Denton, who preceded him in death on September 20, 2010.
He is survived by, four sons, James “Pete” Penrod and his wife Dotty, Kevin Haggett, Darin Haggett and his wife Jennifer, and Shawn Haggett and his wife Stacey, all of Patterson, MO; one daughter, Remona “Mona” Picou and her husband Peter of Patterson, MO; one cousin that was like a brother, Phillip Simon and his wife Phyllis, of St. Louis, MO, fifteen grandchildren, and eighteen great-grandchildren, with two more on the way.
Arnie lived in Wayne county all of his life. He owned an upholstery business for over fifty years. He enjoyed talking to people and spending time outdoors. He loved to hunt, especially Turkey, and loved to fish, especially Bass. He was a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Piedmont, MO.
Visitation will be Thursday, June 30, 2016, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, at Ruegg Funeral Home, Piedmont, MO. Funeral Services will begin at 12:00 PM also at the Piedmont Chapel. Masonic Services were held at 11:30 AM. Burial will follow at Patterson Cemetery. Bro. David Lawson ministered to the family.Online condolences can be made at www.rueggfuneralhomes.com
