Obituary for Eunice Lewis (Wells)

Eunice Lewis (nee Wells), 83 of Columbia, MO, passed away Sunday, November 6, 2016. She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Donald R. Lewis; she was the loving mother of Barbara (Samuel) McClarney, Carolyn, Donald (Catherine), Duane, Dyarl (Sara), David, and Bonnie; cherished grandmother of 15 and great-grandmother of 17; she was the youngest and last of 9 siblings; dear sister-in-law, aunt, cousin and friend – all of whom she adored immensely.
Visitation was held Thursday, November 11, 2016, from 9:00 am until 2:00 pm at Ruegg Funeral Home, Piedmont. Funeral services immediately followed at 2:00 pm, also at the Piedmont Chapel. Burial was at Sutton Hollow Cemetery in Annapolis, MO. Pastor "Buddy" Dement ministered to the family. Joe Aleto, Bryce Aleto, Andrew Lewis, Jarod Lewis, Jason Lewis, and Ian McClarney served as pallbearers. Duane Lewis, Don Lewis, Dyarl Lewis, David Lewis, and McClain Graham were honorary pallbearers. Online condolences can be made at www.rueggfuneralhomes.com
