Obituary for Mark A. McCutchen

Mark A.  McCutchen
Mark McCutchen, 49, of Piedmont, MO, passed away Monday, February 27, in St. Louis, MO. He was born July 21, 1967, in Sikeston, MO, to Charles and Carolyn McCutchen nee’ Hunt.
Shortly after high school, Mark married Tina and she blessed him with three wonderful children.
On September 14, 2014, Mark married Richelle and they shared three great years together.
In addition to his wife, Mark is survived by five children, Jake McCutchen of Pevely, MO, Courtney McCutchen of FL, Gracie McCutchen of Pevely, MO, Raquel Rudolph of Ashland, MO, Riki Rudolph of Greenville, MO; grandchildren, Raylee Daniel, Jase Duncan, and one on the way; father, Charles McCutchen of Piedmont, MO; grandfather, Moriss McCutchen and wife, Francis, of East Prairie, MO; one brother, Chuck McCutchen, Jr., and wife, Sandy, of Piedmont, MO; one sister, Charlotte Labarae of Ironton, MO.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
Mark grew up in the Hillsboro, MO, area and attended school there. During his youth, he and family often vacationed near Clearwater Lake and Mark made the move to the lake area about nine years ago. After high school, Mark joined the Army National Guard and served honorably until his discharge. Mark was a natural athlete, an all-state football player, also enjoying baseball and basketball. His son now shares in his love of sports. Over the years, Mark was a skilled plumber and tradesman working in the St. Louis and surrounding areas with local 562. After leaving the city, he used his skills to assist the residents of Piedmont. He was known to many as someone that was very generous in word and deed and one who enjoyed teasing people.
In his spare time, he enjoyed watching Cardinals games, playing on the lake, fishing, and hunting. He was a member of the Piedmont Eagles and was of the Baptist faith.
Memorial visitation was held, Sunday, March 5, 2017, from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Ruegg Funeral Home, Piedmont. Memorial services were held Sunday, March 5, 2017, at 2:00 pm also at the Piedmont chapel. Full Military Honors were held at 2:30 pm. Online condolences can be made at www.rueggfuneralhomes.com
