Ronald Gene "Ronnie" Ross
Ronald "Ronnie" Gene Ross, 74, of Piedmont, MO, passed away Saturday, December 16, 2017, at Piedmont, MO. He was born July 15, 1943 to the late, Harry Ross and Nola (Eaton) Ross in rural Piedmont, MO.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers Leroy Ross and Eugene Ross.
He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Anna Lea (Hughes) Ross of the home. He is also survived by one son, Jeff Ross and his wife Danita of Piedmont; one daughter, Lisa (Ross) Dinkins and her husband Scott of Piedmont; two brothers, Richard Ross and his wife Norma of Piedmont, and Ralph Ross and his wife Evelyn of Clubb, MO; two sisters, Dorothy Weber of Piedmont, and Marie Matchell and her husband John of Bolivar, MO; seven grandchildren, Erica Ross, Eric Ross and his wife Sierra, Karissa Babb and her husband Mason, Jaclyn Stepp and her husband Marc, Charity Ross, Luke Dinkins, and Justus Ross; and three great-grandchildren, Elijah Babb, Ryley Babb, and Brooklyn Babb.
He was a long-time attendee of New Hope General Baptist Church in Silva, MO.
Ronnie was a self-employed Petroleum Jobber for 52 years and was a well-known local entrepreneur. He loved to spend time with his family and will be greatly missed.
Visitation was held Tuesday, December 19, 2017, from 5:00-8:00 pm, at Ruegg Funeral Home, Piedmont, MO. Services followed Wednesday, December 20, 2017, at 11:00 am, also at the Piedmont chapel. Burial was at Masonic Cemetery, Piedmont, MO. Pastor Dan Ross ministered to the family. Mike Ross, Gary Ross, Kyle Mabury, Ethan Mabury, Jerry Belmar, and Luke Dinkins served as pallbearers.
